In February, we met again for Messy Church in Pitminster. We excitedly looked at the story of Noah making lots of great crafts. We were able to make rainbow bottles from coloured salt which reminded us of the amazing promise God made saying that he would never again flood the world. We made animal masks which helped us think about the wonderful variety of animals in the world. We made Dove's where were able to think about the important role of the dove in the story and how the dove has come to symbolise peace. We all contributed to a large jigsaw in which we coloured in the pieces before eventually putting it all together at the end. This showed us the enormous ark that Noah so obediently made and how it kept Noah, his family and all the animals safe during the flood. Sue brilliantly told us the story of Noah so that we could see where all our crafts linked in. We then all joined to say prayers linked to the colours of the rainbow. Thank you to everyone who came along, we hope you had a great time. Thank you also to all the leaders and helpers and to those who prepared the food.
